Naust Paa Aure by TYIN tegnestue Architects:

The boathouse is a cultural hallmark for Norway. The entire country is almost one long coast line. The location for "Naust Paa Aure" was chosen in the middle of the eighteenth century, it was a old fishing "naust" (fishing boat storage) volume there, but the state of it was so bad that the owner deceided to tear it down and build a new "naust". The "naust would be used as a summer house and was to be true to the old simple and honest use of materials form the old days.

The weather on coastal Norway can be rough.
